Nursing Isn't One Size Fits All - Find the Hold That's Right For You

Moms don’t come in one size, shape or style – and neither do their babies! So, it shouldn’t be a surprise that there is no one-size-fits all way to do breastfeeding.

The infographic below highlights different nursing positions and their benefits. In all of these positions, a good latch starts by lifting baby to breast. Leaning down to baby, instead of lifting baby up, can cause strain on your back, neck and shoulders.

You and baby are a team, learning a new skill together. Experiment with different positions and find what feels most natural and supportive to you!
